Having transitioned all 104 providers of University Medical Group into University Medical Partners, another medical group affiliated with Stanford Healthcare, the new medical group is 300 providers strong with practices in 3 SF Bay Area counties. I serve as Chief of the South Bay Region and Medical Director of the Oncology Service Line, which encompasses all of the providers I previously supervised at UMG. In addition my responsibilities now extend throughout the 3 county service area of University Medical Partners as Chief of all Specialty Services and Medical Director of Research. I am Co-Chair of the Board of Directors of UMP and also serve on the Quality and Credentialing Committee. I have an additional role with Stanford Healthcare as a member of the Cancer Network Management Guidance Team, representing the community medical oncologists in their service line relationship with the Stanford University School of Medicine Faculty and Stanford Healthcare.
