  Hired as Senior Toolpusher and assigned to the construction of a new UDW Drill ship at Samsung Heavy Industries in South Korea after a successful 2 year drilling campaign in Nigeria, promoted to Drilling Superintedent, and returned to SHI for the build of another UDW Drillship. Provided operations support and input delivery of the new rig. Participated in design reviews of systems and equipment layout to ensure the best possible functionality, operability, and maintainability. Lead and developed the new rig crews into a cohesive rig team to achieve the start up objectives. Lead the development of procedures, training plans, and timelines with the Technical Operations team, to meet the requirements of commissioning and delivery. Participated in all FMECA, FMEA, HAZID, and HAZOP studies. Took ownership of the key operation actions points raised. Monitor the construction compliance with the applicable statutory, regulatory, and company rules and policies. Contributed with operational knowhow to the Project team. Responsible for the Operations preparation plans and readiness for Client integrated acceptance tests. Exercised and managed budgetary control over the assigned cost centre to the construction team to ensure a fit for purpose and timely delivery.
