Within my role as a maintenance engineer my main tasks were to ensure all production and mould-shop related breakdowns are completed swiftly and safely these encompass mechanical, electrical and automation breakdowns, also performing modifications to the jigs, fixtures, and test machines through mechanical, electrical and programming methods. All building maintenance including installations to BS 7671 ensuring the factory condition is a pleasant and safe workplace for all staff. Breakdowns are kept to a minimum by preventative maintenance methods throughout the factory and being responsible for onsite contractors and permits to work. Show less
