Bio

I've had the privilege to work together with Martin for almost two years now, and during that time he has been a great mentor, co-worker and friend. When I think of Martin, I think about his breathtaking knowledge regarding the many facets of game development, and his calm, warm personality that can soothe any storm. Having been in the industry for a decade doesn't necessarily say anything about one's skills or wisdom. But when it comes to Martin it surely does, as he is one of the wisest and smartest people that I know. I'm constantly in awe over how much knowledge Martin has about the many ins and outs that is Game design. Regardless of the topic, be it balancing issues, designs that feel incomplete, features that don't make sense, etc., Martin is the first person that I would go to for advice and/or help. Aside from his design skills, he is also just a wonderful colleague in so many different ways.. Something I've always been impressed by when it comes to Martin, is his constant ability to be positive. Not in a naïve way either, he his more than able to grasp when situations are not optimal, but always strives to make the best of it, regardless if everything is fine, or on fire. He also genuinely cares for his coworkers in a way that few do and has a highly contagious laughter. I could go on and on about what a great, skilled and all around terrific person Martin is, so I'll just end by saying that anyone would be highly fortunate to have him as a coworker.
Emil Petersson
I've had the pleasure of working with Martin for over a year and I only have good things to say. For starters, he is extremely knowledgeable when it comes to game design and game development as a whole. He knows what questions need to be asked and can see the big picture of how a solution would affect not only the game's design but also the other disciplines such as art and code. Working with him is a breeze and he brought such good vibes to the team. I know that he would be a great addition to any team he joins, as he was for ours.
