    • Project example 1. Talent Pool Assessment and Competency Framework Development
      • Mar 2017 - Aug 2017

I designed and delivered a programme of assessment centres, commissioned by Cape Plc, to evaluate 50 senior managers, against competencies deemed critical for future success. In the absence of an existing competency model within Cape, I successfully developed an appropriate framework which received very positive feedback. The assessment programme (badged internally as 'Fitness for Future') provided rigour and objectivity to better inform '9 box grid' placements; and it helped to identify development priorities for this senior talent pool. • Project example 2. Deployed as Global Data Lead (for Workday HCM implementation)
      • May 2014 - Aug 2015

I led a team of HR data specialists and business analysts located in a number of countries (including USA, UK, Australia, Hong Kong and Philippines) to manage the migration and conversion of HCM data from numerous sources across the globe to Workday HRIS. Working in partnership with Deloitte, the global programme implementation partner for QBE, I was accountable for delivering data in line with the specific requirements and schedule for each project iteration, from initial prototype (P1) to final (Gold) ‘go live’. Post Aug 2015 implementation, I was also deployed by QBE (until Q3 2016) to assist in the development of ongoing data governance and assessment of HR reporting needs. Show less

    • Project example 3. Role and Job Family Framework Development
      • Jan 2014 - Jun 2015

I provided support to Hyperion's internal HR function by developing a Role level and Job Family Framework which better informed organisational structure, job leveling, remuneration & reward decisions. By interviewing many of the company's employees, I was able to provide improved, output focused role profiles for a sizeable proportion of Hyperion’s positions in the UK (Howden & Hyperion) and Germany (Hendricks). The framework and more accurate role assignment was a critical prerequisite for the implementation of Workday in the latter part of 2015. Show less

During this period I gained superb exposure and experience, across the UK and Overseas, to ensure business risks (in all areas such as multi-disciplined and specialist insurance functions, operational areas, and support functions) were properly managed and controlled. Initial accounting experience was gained in the company’s Life and Pensions business but my audit role broadened out to cover all areas of Eagle Star’s financial services businesses, internationally.
