Initially trained in engineering disciplines, my career progress from general engineering and maintenance to product and quality development as Quality Development Engineer in 1988, utilising a range of statistical techniques to develop product and processes through the use of continuous improvement activities and the development of automated NDT systems.1998: Promoted to the role of Production Manager with responsibilities for the day to day management of the production activities for all manufacturing areas, with involvement in Health and safety, Quality and Environmental standards, working towards ISO 14001, ISO 9001 and TS16949.2006: Appointed to the Board of Directors as Operations Director with responsibilities for production, quality, health and safety and environmental management.
