Along with my team I coordinate daily activities for our residents based on their interests, desires, and needs. Currently offering 250+ activities per month. In addition, we've just launched our Enhanced Wellness Program for assisted living residents. This program combats common setbacks many seniors experience such as loss of sight, mobility needs, reduced cognition, hearing loss, or any combination of these factors which can have negative outcomes for many seniors. Enhanced Wellness aims to assist residents who are experiencing these barriers and either slow or reduce the impact of these barriers in their lives. From Bingo to Balance we're moving forward and we're doing it safely and enthusiastically. My team works hard to ensure that resident's have many opportunities and pathways to belonging using six types of wellness.My leadership style is highly collaborative. I believe that retention begins with leadership and that the best leaders are always working to provide their teams everything they need to do their best work.

Life Enrichment Coordinator

Even at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic I was able to bring enrichment to seniors in assisted living through various cognitively, physically, social, spiritually, and educationally stimulating activities to all residents. During my employment I doubled programming and solved common challenges many of us faced in the early days of the pandemic by being creative and thoughtful. The facility is home to more than 100 residents with a sister facility housing those in need of rehabilitation and memory care. While a Jewish community, it is open and friendly to all faiths and beliefs and has some of the best staff in the industry.

Sports Coach

Facilitated and organized multiple classes at the Nike Sports Center building our athletes using their 5 Pillars of Wellness metric. I mitigated risks and reduced accidents by creating a safety tracking program which emphasized near misses/accidents to increase our commitment safety and maintaining a secure environment. I often demonstrated authoritative knowledge of rock climbing, sports coaching, leadership, and wellness education being approachable, consistent, and engaging with others through positive reinforcement. Just before the pandemic laid myself and many other off I overhauled the training and instruction manuals for many of current class offerings. I achieved a series of continual promotions and increased leadership responsibility within the largest Arizona facility due to an exemplary work ethic, strong initiative, and value-added contributions. I designed and delivered new safety protocols as well as training curriculum for new employees. Collaborated with leadership in the process of administering individual and group training and provided open door policy and availability for consistent feedback and mentorship to less experienced staff. I could often be seen executing strategic operational planning, employee training and supervision, and cost-effective resource allocation. Took charge of site safety management and created a strong culture of risk mitigation and incident prevention. When coaching others I administered positive reinforcement while advocating 100% compliance to site-specific safety programs.
