I had the pleasure of working with Martin for 8 months when I joined IRIS and he was the number 1 reason that I was able to get-up-to-speed as quickly I did. I found him to be incredibly personable but beyond that he has a wealth of knowledge around Multi Academy Trusts and specifically education finance. Martin has his finger on the pulse of the dynamic Education marketplace, understanding the drivers within it and the needs of a Finance team who are responsible for ensuring the successful growth of the MAT. I have worked alongside him as he successfully applied his insight to MATs of all shapes and sizes – carefully ensuring that they got the results that they needed. He blends genuine customer care with a pragmatic, practical understanding of the CFO's role and a talent for simplifying complex principles to make them understandable and relevant to his audience – It’s this rare blend of attributes that makes Martin’s input incredibly valuable to any MAT.
