Infinitive brought in Selective under our RaaS Solution during an intense period of recruitment as a key enabler to their growth. Martin was central to this activity being the key contact for Infinitive Group. From the outset Martin's communication was brilliant. He was very engaged in making the project a success and made Selective feel part of the Infinitive Group Team thus getting the very best from us as a supplier. Thank you for all of your time invested and we look forward to continue our brilliant work together.

I joined Transport for London on their Electrical Engineering Graduate Scheme. This scheme allowed me to work in a number of departments completing different roles on a rotational placement basis. This helped me develop as a professional engineer by laying foundations across various sub-set disciplines of electrical engineering. Work I delivered whilst on the scheme includes:• Concept designs for DC power upgrade works• Updating tools for maintenance scheduling at a depot• Designing modifications for a bespoke train• Requirements production for a rolling stock project• Modelling simulation for engineers vehicles• Modelling simulation to provide operational analysis to assess feasibility• Lead design role for an asset refurbishment project• Optimisation work on a 5th scale locomotive for regenerative braking deliveryI have also had the opportunity to spend time working on the operational side of the business. This allowed me to gain a perspective on how the company delivers to the customer. I have also been able to develop additional skills through various training courses supplied through the graduate scheme. Show less

I worked as a part time employee for 7 years throughout my higher education (both at sixth form and at university). Throughout my time in the company I performed numerous shop floor roles in various teams. This exposed me to the different operational aspects of how a retail shop is run. At Christmas holiday times I was given the responsibility of coordinating the seasonal customer orders. This would place me in control of reserved stock coming into branch which I would have to organise in the best capacity within tight space constraints. The organisation was key to ensure that high levels of customer orders were managed in a controlled manner for good customer experience in the process. I was assigned the role of staff liaison during a shop refurbishment. This saw me being in direct communication with contractors, shop floor staff and customers to ensure that information about the project was being communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
