Reporting to the designated Quality manager, to assist the Manager in meeting objectives with a particular focus on auditing, investigation & documentation. 1. Conduct internal audits & document the results.2. To identify to the responsible personnel, the non-conformances arising from 1 above and advise & monitor corrective action.3. To co-ordinate the recording of Customer Complaints and control the response activity as defined in the company procedure. To advise personnel as how to correctly use 8D documentation.4. To inspect materials for defects, using methods like measurement and visual examination, including not only looking with the eye, but with lenses, microscopes and may involve techniques such as non-destructive testing (NDT)9. To produce reports for the quality manager 10. To monitor, when and where necessary, each stage of production11. To use statistical analysis to make sure that machinery, processes and processed parts are within tolerance limits.12. To deputise for the Quality Manager in their absence .13. Upon the closure of Elsy & Gibbons I was asked to supervise and co-ordinate the smooth transition of one of Elsy & Gibbons production lines to McDonalds Engineering; Duties: Ensuring a productive and time effective production line was installed including machine location, cost effective flow of production ensuring lean manufacturing. I was also responsible for training the company's employees on the new product and product line. Although a full time position was offered I decided to leave at the end of the successful introduction of the new production line, to pursue a different career path. Show less
