I had the great pleasure of working with Martin, from early development activities and throughout deliveries of plastic components for medical products. He's a factual and fair negotiator from where we managed to establish a foundation for fruitful cooperation. He comes across as a trust wordy professional. I can fully endorse Martin to anyone in need of services related to plastic components for the medical industry

Carclo Technical Plastics is a £60m pa subsidiary of Carclo plc. The business operates as a contract manufacturer, focused on plastic injection moulding and complete device assembly. In my role as Director of European Sales & Marketing, I am responsible for customer service/retention and new business development in the European region which currently has annual sales of £27m from facilities in England and Czech Republic. I liaise closely with colleagues at Carclo's US, China and India facilities to ensure customers benefit from Carclo's global footprint. Primary focus is in the healthcare arena - Carclo Technical Plastics manufactures products on a subcontract basis for drug delivery, medical/surgical, diagnostic and eye-care applications. Typical products include Dry Powder Inhalers/Insulin pens, Point of Care diagnostic cartridges, ostomy bag fittings, eye surgery devices, contact lens packaging, laboratory disposables (cuvettes, pipette tips, reagent packs), etc, etc. My focus is on ensuring that Carclo adds as much value to its clients as possible and offers excellence in customer service at all times. My role involves key account management, recruitment, management of internal staff and external agents/distributors, preparation of sales/marketing budgets, negotiation of supply agreements, strategic planning and business development. Carclo Diagnostic Solutions Ltd was a new company, internally funded by Carclo plc, set up to commercialise a new Point-of-Care (PoC) diagnostic technology, branded micropoc. Micropoc utilised microfluidics, microelectronics, agglutination technology and other new developments which were patented. In the role of Commercial Director, I set up the new company, created a brand and launched the business, supported by a marketing/awareness campaign. I engaged with numerous existing and new customers, interested in licensing the technology for use with their proprietary assays, however the business closed in May 2016. Show less
