It was a pleasure working with Martin on the QA team in CR2 for over 6 years. I started out as graduate QA engineer under Martin’s leadership, and he made it so easy to start building knowledge and gaining skills in this space. Martin has excellent communication and team building skills, and ensures everyone in the team feels comfortable working on the areas assigned to them. I transitioned from my role in QA to the Presales team in 2016, and found that Martin was very supportive during this time, and still is to this date. I really enjoyed working with such a brilliant team and learned so much from a great mentor!

Martin has been my manager for 7 years in CR2. He has always been supportive of our team and a very approachable person. I gained lots of experience starting out as a graduate QA engineer because he allows people the freedom to tackle issues and solve problems their own way not just by telling people what to do. This encourages skill development and independence. He led our team by clearing away obstacles so that we can reach our goals and complete our tasks. This helps me to be more efficient in my work and helps keep me motivated. He genuinely cares about his team and I have never had a problem asking him for advice whether personal or work related. He will give you his honest opinion and will happily talk to anyone that reaches out to him. If our team was ever being treated unfairly, he would gladly stand up and defend us. Anyone that I know who Martin managed has said it is very rare to work with a manager like him. Overall, Martin is a fair, genuine person who is highly motivating and has always been friendly and easy to work for. I think any team or organisation will be lucky to have him.
