  The "travel virus" got me after visiting the USA in '98 so I went Downunder by myself in a time where I didn't have a cellphone yet, internet was available in "internetshops" and I had to use Kodak’s to shoot pictures... So it was an old fashioned trip where time was on my side. My YellowBird (a yellow Holden Commodore Wagon1982) brought me via Melbourne-Sydney-Queensland-Darwin-Adelaide back to Melbourne and I visited great places, beaches, parcs and met amazing people from all around. I feel very lucky that I enjoyed diving The Great Barrier Reef knowing that it is pretty threatened meanwhile.Unfortunately I spend only 3 weeks in NZ on the South Island. The diversity of nature (from sandy beaches upto FranzJozef Glacier in a eye blink..) struck me and I knew I have to go back one day..It was an experience for live and I was so right to go knowing that time would be a luxury in the future.... I recommend everyone but especially millennials to explore the world.

  Student summer job at Resort Barefoot Bay, Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.Working together with appr. 40 international students and local staff I had the best summer, improved my English, experienced the way of life in the USA. In addition I had a great trip afterwards visiting the “Westcoast” Seattle-Denver-LA in a 6 weeks roadtrip exploring u.a. Olympic, Mount Rainier, Grand Tetons, Yellowstone, Arches, Grand Canyon, Bryce (one of my favorites). This with a great international group of people; together we shared great experiences and stories for life.
