  I am a part time instructor for first year German at the University of South Alabama. Working at the college level gives me an opportunity to teach at a more advanced pace. My students here sometimes include young men and women I taught in middle school. This affords me a glimpse into their academic and personal development. All this makes my work here very fulfilling. Phillips Preparatory School

  I have been teaching German at Phillips since 2002. Phillips Preparatory School is a magnet school with all advanced classes. It is a Middle School, and all students are required to take a foreign language. The last two years I have also been teaching two classes of 7th grade Spanish, due to the high enrollment. Our students are highly motivated, and it is both a pleasure and a privilege to teach at this school, which was ranked 42nd in the nation. I have been teaching German at Phillips since 2002.
