I've had the pleasure of knowing Marta as her Career Advisor at Hult International Business School and now as a mentor. Marta is not only a brilliant glass artist, but an accomplished teacher and businesswoman. I've rarely known someone who brings together these disciplines as well as she does. In my experience with Marta I've witnessed her ability to adapt in a diversity of circumstances and in particular work enthusiastically with people from different cultures. She has a strong sense for leadership, listens well and advises thoughtfully. Rare attributes. Marta is also a strong educator with passion for the art of teaching. She connects deeply with her audiences while caring about their learning.

One of the most talented artists I had the opportunity to work with. Artist soul and entrepreneurial mind. Engaged us to understand and to get involved with the arts scene.

This lecture introduces the value of economics in the culture industry, demonstrating the benefit of applying mathematical equations to art practice. My goal is to teach people how to utilize economics, finance, and operational management to create the work they want to make. This talk is the foundation for a future webinar series that will dig deeper into project management theories, financial calculations, and operational decisions.
