Within Esade's Center for Public Governance (Esade Gov) I work to strengthen and foster Public-Private-Partnerships, enabling innovative forms of cooperation between sectors to deliver public services and goods. Good strategy, effective stakeholder analysis and interest alignments are some of the determinants that I am currently working on when thinking of the complementarity between sectors. My main goal was rethinking the complementarity and potential between the public, private and third sectors in the search for the provision of high-quality public services. Both my work experience in recent years as well as that of my colleagues from all over the world were critically reviewed based on the concepts acquired in Management, Public Policy Design, Data Analysis, Public Finance and Organizational Behavior, among others. Finally, I focused my thesis research on a statistical study on the factors that influence the successful transition of countries with inefficient and regressive energy subsidy regimes towards more effective and convenient schemes. The General Secretariat is transversal ministry that coordinates intra-government projects among different departments (Production, Communication, Public Health, among others). As such, it is responsible for the governor’s logistics, agenda, and institutional projects. Moreover, the General Secretariat is the Province’s Foreign Affairs Office with national and subnational foreign authorities and id also responsible for channelling all Executive institutional relations with the private and third sector. As General Under-secretary I was the second in command in the areas and projects previously mentioned. I have been directly involved in a variety of policies concerning public tenders as well as international commerce and cooperation missions. For this purpose, I am directly in charge of a staff of ten civil servants and indirectly of thirty-tree civil servants, as well as six hundred and nine government employees. Show less

    • Chief Advisor
      • Feb 2016 - Feb 2018

As Chief Advisor I was responsible for coordinating the Secretary General’s advisors team. I worked with a group of five people as well as with the Ministry's under-secretaries to help define the strategic areas in which the Ministry should work. During those first two years I was responsible for supervising the Secretary General’s presentations, speeches and communication strategies. Generating budget execution reports and Gantts charts to follow up projects, as well as coordinating the logistics of the Ministry itself, were part of my everyday tasks. The position demanded leadership skills, versatility and resilience especially during the first year because within the Ministry, the Advisors were responsible for getting to know everyone and every department’s functions. This was a big challenge since it is a strategic ministry in a province whose public administration, until 2015, had not undergone any change in its ruling majority since 1989. Show less

Poliarquia provides high-quality academic prestigious services for entities both at national and subnational levels, for political candidates and public opinion leaders as well as for international NGOs such as World Wildlife Foundation, among others. Public Opinion reports, Public Policies as well as Public Policy Master Plans are some of the services Poliarquia, regularly develops. As junior analyst I assisted and co-lead research studies for a variety of clients. I prepared and analysed quantitative research bases (for example electoral statistical polls) as well as co-ordinated qualitative research studies such as focus groups and in- depth interviews. Depending on the project, I worked directly with senior analysts as well as with the Consultancy Executive Director. Throughout my time in Poliarquia I enhanced my statistical analysis knowledge learned as an undergraduate. I also deepened my knowledge with qualitative research tools that I had previously utilized as Project One Assistant. Show less

I worked for Ruperto Godoy, Senator for San Juan province while I was an undergraduate in Political Science at the Universidad de Buenos Aires. Godoy was Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and was vice Chairman of the Regional Economies Congressional Committee. I was responsible for drafting reports about each committee’s bills as well as about public issues that were politically relevant to both the Executive and the Legislative. Our office was responsible for negotiating with the different parties the agenda of both the Foreign Affairs and the Local Economies Committees. The work with those two committees gave me valuable experience on how to work with international Organisms such as de UN (by working on Argentina’s signing of the 2014 Arms Trade Treaty) as well as much knowledge about Argentina’s local economies. • Research Assistant

I assisted several focus groups that took place in Buenos Aires (Argentina), Mexico City (Mexico) and San Pablo (Brazil). I assisted both in the coordination and during the information analysis and report drafting of the market research studies. I participated in such projects for two years during the Senate’s recess. It was a valuable process from which I learned not only how to implement qualitative research methodology but also how to lead and coordinate groups of multicultural individuals while making a great effort to comprehend intercultural frameworks Show less
