To whom it may concern: It is an honor for me to present this recommendation letter for Mr. Juan Marquez. He is an outstanding Academic and Career Advisor for BAS in Supervision and Management at Miami Dade College. Two years ago, I was a student in need of guidance for my career when I first met him, and I was extremely impressed for his great enthusiasm and desire to help students; which is very unusual among other advisors at MDC. Mr. Marquez never had a negative answer and was always willing to support students in every aspect. Mr. Marquez’s ability to motivate students is unparalleled. He is always sending emails to students as a reminder of any due dates and has a superior capability of replying to their emails quickly. He specifically emphasizes in providing students credible and accurate information about their academic status, including but not limited to the missing and available courses for each student. Juan is continuously honestly interested in his students’ progress and success. Throughout these years, I had the opportunity to be close to Juan and I have noticed that his major characteristic is his passion for his job. He loves what he does and enjoys at maximum facilitating the students’ essentials for graduation. I feel very fortunate to had Mr. Marquez as an advisor because he encouraged me to register for more classes and thanks to him; I finish my BAS in one year. I am confident that Mr. Marquez will continue to grow and become even more effective with further prospects. Whoever decides to promote Juan for a higher position or to have him as an employee, will be pleased with his excellence and will never regret it. Sincerely, Gladys Fernandez
