  Plant Performance: Responsible for production processes in the following plants: Concentrator, Backfilling and Water Treatment. Plant Availability: Ensuring equipment and machinery are in good working condition. Ensuring breakdowns are worked on in time to reduce downtime. Ensuring consumables such as steel balls, SIPX, pine oil, lime, nitric acid, oxalic acid, flocculant and cement are enough for smooth running of plants. Supervision and Communication: Discipline and Safety: Executing and enforcing the company disciplinary code; conducting plant safety inspections, chairing sectional safety meetings, implementing the Safety Company code of practices, enforcing the Mining Regulations and ISO management systems - OH&S MS, EMS, QMS. Implementing the 6S Lean Workplace: Preparing shift and standby work schedules - arranging each person to work not more than 48 hours/week and not more than 208 hours/month; and arranging overtime work where necessary.
