I led the talented editorial team at BRAVA Magazine, a high-quality monthly women's lifestyle publication aimed at “women of style and substance” in the Madison area and beyond. Our goal was to help women thrive in their lives, and our publication, events and community involvement are all integral to that goal. Our readers were educated, affluent and informed.We featured meaty stories in issues of special concern to women and their families, along with a generous helping of style and beauty, wellness tips, fabulous homes and gardens, travel destinations, plenty of fodder for foodies, and portraits of artists, trendy retailers, and day trips in the region.My job was to conceptualize and direct content, and lead the editing and art direction processes for the publication each month. I also wrote a variety of content for BRAVABRAVA also works with a great group of accomplished freelance writers, photographers, designers and illustrators who bring the magazine and its events to life.
