Developed and secured research related proposals to enhance programming of Habitat especially in relation to gender. Designed systematic processes of collaboration between region, global, donor countries and national offices for proposal review and donor collaboration. Collaborated with the advocacy team and national offices in the region to develop advocacy-led activities and identified allies in the area of shelter, sustainable cities and land rights through its global Solid Ground campaign, working with allies such as the Global Land Tool Network. Monitored revenue growth and supported the work of cross functional teams. Trainings and Coaching: Provided regional training on grant resource acquisition and lead in provision of advocacy and grant acquisition session workshops; provided mentoring to resource development managers of 5 national offices.

Led in closing down and opening of ad-hoc humanitarian program offices from logistics, procurement, finance, assessments, human resource personnel. Management: At one point had indirect supervision of 50 plus personnel (both humanitarian and development) and 5 direct line reports (both humanitarian and development)Partnerships: Renewed and extended partnerships with child focused organisations toadvocate for child's rights specially in the areas of peacebuilding, governance and multiculturalism in the whole of Mindanao to strengthen advocacy and lobbying on education. Fundraising: Designed a process with the national office in terms of grant tracking and reporting schedules to ensure that reports are done on time (especially during humanitarian contexts). Developed proposals related to ACEID, MFAT, SIDA,IKEA. Managed and provided oversight for more than 4M USD in institutional grants. Capacity building and Mentoring: Mentored managers and incoming members of humanitarian responses. Helped to set up the process of deployment and debriefing as part of local SURGE capacity for Save's dual mandate responsibilities. Others: Formed a collaborative hub for all program offices and ad hoc humanitarian programs to be able to work together. Initiated partnership processes with Merlin to ensure close working relationships. Provided for oversight on ECHO consortium partnership processes which included ACF, Plan, Oxfam.

The head office was in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The position was under the Program Development and Quality Assurance. Was brought in to provide stability and technical multi-programming leadership and quality assurance to technical specialists and increase partnerships. Programs included environment, livelihoods, peacebuilding, disability, health, and HIV. Accomplishments: Program Implementation and Monitoring: Led in reviewing the opening and closing of field offices (around 35 in 2012 out of 44 field offices in the country) in opening and closing programs through needs assessments, mid term assessments and evaluations through logical frameworks and theory of change. Analysed the identification, selection and recommendation of national targets (child well being targets) as part of a standard of excellence M&E system for the region. Provided a systematic process for collaboration between specialists. During my time, both health and livelihood specialists were able to work clearly together and the disability programming was further strengthened. Worked extensively with the Design and Monitoring team and reviewed their reports to provide programmatic inputs. Fundraising: Timely inputs to financial proposals and regional budgets DFAT/EU as requested by resource development and PDQA national head. Others: Led the development of initiatives related to gender inclusion and caregiving by male parents, coastal resource management, strategic review to strengthen the quality of education outcomes. Piloted significant change stories as an approach and process to documentation and knowledge management. Led in the drafting of all 5 year strategy papers for the programs in consultation with the specialists, field offices and senior management.
