As HR-manager of &samhoud I have worked with Marloes very intense for over 3 years and I experienced it to be a big pleasure! Our HR department, called ‘People’, was fully responsible for all HR processes for our consultancy firm on an international level (regarding our offices in the Netherlands, Spain, Malaysia and Swiss). Besides our consultancy firm People is also responsible for all HR processes for our 2 Michelin star restaurant in Amsterdam, &samhoud | places, and other business units such as &samhoud foundation, &samhoud food, People Equity and Personal Vision. In 2008 and 2009 &samhoud became number 1 ‘Great Place to Work’ in the Netherlands. In 2010 we’ve managed to become number 1 ‘Great Place to Work’ in Europe as well. Focus on employee value has had the desired effect on customer value (and financial value). Winning three times in a row is unique and after this breakthrough we decided to help other companies to become a ‘Great Place to Work’ as well, with our help (instead of continuing our participation for the award). Employee value has always been our main priority and that’s where our HR department plays as significant role. As HR executive, Marloes contributed tremendously when it comes to employee satisfaction amongst our people. She was pivotal in all HR-processes: integrating and developing great people, performing, and caring & servicing. Not only she is a true networker and she’s very skilled and experienced, but she has a great character. Marloes is a warm and beloving person and she has always been involved in our people (without losing sight of the interests of our company). Many of our colleagues consider her as a friend, and vice versa. Besides her job as HR executive she was always more than happy to support me with other tasks, whenever I needed. Marloes is proactive, driven and conscientious. She is good at planning and organizing, collaboration and she is result driven.
