  Dr. Ir. Marlies Sanders is an experienced researcher and project leader specialised in policy evaluations in the field of biodiversity. She evaluated, for example, the ecological impact of Agri- Environmental and Nature Conservations Schemes and other nature policy measurements that give effect to the European Rural Development Program and the Convention on Biological Diversity. She also evaluated the ecological impact of the Dutch National legislation that gives effect to the Habitats Directive. She has been leading these assessments for Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency and the Ministry of Economic Affairs. She currently is an expert involved in the 6th Dutch national report to the Convention on Biological Diversity. Show less
