  I am the owner and clinical director of Farmington Valley Counseling Center in Avon, CT. FVCC is a group therapy practice that employs a team of exceptional licensed therapists. We help individuals of all ages who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma and everyday stressors.My work in the practice centers around providing individual and group counseling services, as well as parent counseling and parent education both in person at our Avon, CT location and online via telehealth counseling. I utilize a strengths-based approach, incorporating Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness, while supporting clients in accomplishing their goals. I bring 20+ years experience as a school social worker and as a mom into my clinical work at the practice.I am especially passionate about helping parents and kids to better understand and better manage anxiety so they are able to live full, happy lives. Licensed Clinical Social Worker in CT (LCSW #004924) and MA (LICSW #122209).Certified School Social Worker (#070) in CT.
