I worked with Mark from 2009 through 2018 at Sony Pictures. Over those years, we forged a trusted partnership - he was my conduit to so many of the interests and needs of the global distribution /marketing / creative services groups of Sony Pictures Television, representing those interests with precision, enormous engagement, and ardent creativity. I learned a great deal from him - about the TV business and about the people in so many departments, what's important to them, what they value, and what they're dealing with, their pain points. One of his signature strengths is his remarkable ability to empathize - to get into the minds of various users and predict what technical features might be popular/useful, and help design the user interface that would provide the highest user delight. Another one of his strengths is his intense commitment to excellence - he has exacting standards for himself and the quality of the work. Half measures or poor execution don't set up residence in his orbit. Finally, his work ethic is legendary and intense, displaying a loyalty to his employer that is rare and unique.

Mark was one of the most committed professionals through his work at Sony. He is an organized and customer-service oriented perfectionist, has no problem to work hard when necessary. Give him the really challenging tasks, the ones that everyone else is struggling with, and he will get them done. His hands-on approach, his passion, organization, motivation and powerful personality won him the respect of many peers at Sony Pictures Television. I enjoyed working with him on the numerous projects we took on and am happy to provide a recommendation for Mark for any technical or creative position, within and beyond the entertainment industry.
