I have had the pleasure to work with Mark a couple of times in my career (adidas / Digital Innovation). Mark has an outstanding command of both retail strategy and operations. He brings great ideas to the table and encourages open and honest collaboration. He was critical in shaping the first steps for adidas around merchandising and planning processes - driving initiatives from idea to execution. Mark is experience and enthusiasm for retail, make him an asset to any leadership team. I loved working with Mark and am super grateful to have met Mark in my business and private life.

I had the pleasure to work with Mark while he led a Reebok initiative to gain efficiency in our range. His communication with all stakeholders was excellent. His planning of the project was superb. And his creative problem solving was tremendous. His work resulted in major improvements in our range overlap across our global markets, creating efficiency and ultimately more profit. Mark drives results.

I had the privilege of working with Mark for 2 years. Mark has a unique style of operating that is relaxed however, a no-nonsense approach. The deep understanding that Mark has of business in general is one of the reasons he can approach any situation with calmness and resolve in a very simplistic manner – a few of the many learnings I look forward to implementing myself in the years to come. Encouraging, Integrity and Respect are qualities that outlines Mark’s leadership ability. Mark was always challenging and this kept us on the go all the time. Setting clear goals, the freedom to operate and provide the direction and support to achieve goals defines him to be an Inclusive leader.. Personally, I would like to thank Mark for mentoring, coaching and guiding me through the rigors of a very multifaceted organization with ease and keeping things simple.

Defined the overall seasonal range architecture for the adidas brand, considering distribution, space, geography, pricing, cross-category balance, and qualitative factors; always with a consumer perspective. Also implemented consumer pricing initiatives, including value-based pricing and psychological pricing, and managed the overall range segmentation process across all global Business Units.Created and delivered a successful range architecture process and range roadmap, introduced value-based pricing methodology, and implemented an improved range segmentation structure. This enabled significant range size reduction with positive results, and improvements in range efficiency. VBP provided better consumer-focused pricing, and Business Units were able to more precisely manage their product distribution. I built a strong team from scratch to enable these results.
