Mark has the proven ability to lead effectively, organize efficiently and provide great results. I reported to Mark for several years and found him to be open, supportive, and an awesome Manager. His expectations were clear and reasonable, he communicated clear and concisely. Mark was able to adapt to working with multiple personality types very well. He encouraged team engagement which made our team work more effectively and efficiently. I enjoyed coming to work as I felt Mark provided a work environment that was positive and fun which made the team feel empowered. He always supported me and my knowledge of Regulatory and Quality Management Systems. He never pretended to know everything. He recognized his team’s expertise and learned from them, while helping to support all of us in further developing our professional development at the same time. I am happy to have had the opportunity to work as part of Mark's team and would work for him again if given the opportunity. I would recommend Mark as a leader and as a colleague in any capacity.

I worked with Mark Kelly during a 4 year period beginning in 2012 at the Harley-Davidson Product Development Center where I reported directly/indirectly to Mark through standard workflows as well as on project-specific requirements. I found Mark to be both an effective servant leader as well as a comprehensive coach and I found myself regularly challenged and encouraged by his high-energy commitment to his colleagues, his team(s) and the organization. Mark leads with transparent targets and specific, high-performance expectations while managing change effectively. Our workload consisted of managing resources and coordinating the efforts of the internal technical design teams, the manufacturing facilities across the globe and aligning supply chain requirements with government regulations to deliver quality products and processes. Mark led the team(s) "from the front" and maintained composure during the tough times while also finding time to celebrate success and make work enjoyable with his excellent sense of humor. Mark never minded me bringing problems or issues to his desk while at the same time it was "strongly recommended" that I also bring a proposed solution; Mark promotes autonomy and courage for the people who work with him and I appreciate that. Most importantly, Mark is a mentor and a friend. I have found working under his leadership to have been a vivid learning opportunity for me and I attribute a significant part of my professional development to my experience working with Mark. I strongly recommend Mark Kelly for any position that allows him to impact people the way that he has impacted me.
