Worked in Professor Vidya Madhavan's Scanning Tunneling Microscopy Laboratory in the Physics Department of Boston College. Used the 3-Dimensional Modeling Program AutoCAD to help a graduate student design an ultra-high vacuum chamber for thin film growth. Successfully designed and implemented a mechanism to couple an electronic step motor to a sample manipulator on a Scanning Tunneling Microscope.
