Kathryn is a truly professional art dealer and she is generous with her time and expertise.

I always enjoy visiting Kathryn Markel Gallery. The artists who she represents are sincere and unique, not concerned about the latest fashion. Edward Evans

At Kathryn Markel Fine Arts, we believe that significant contemporary art can be beautiful as well as visually and intellectually rigorous. We also believe that acquiring art should be a source of pleasure and self-discovery. Since 1975 we have been helping collectors find the art that speaks to them, and interior designers find just the right pieces for their clients. We can help you too. The gallery exhibits a diverse group of artists united by hard-won craft, a compelling intellectual framework, and a love of the art-making process. We hope you'll stop by our New York City gallery in Chelsea or our Bridgehampton gallery to view our remarkable collection of contemporary paintings and work on paper in person. www.markelfinearts.com Show less

GlassRoots is a non-profit glass hotshop in Newark that uses the fascination of glassmaking to engage the youth of the Newark area. As we teach glassmaking, kids learn the business skills required to market their glass objects. They also experience the science of glass, the teamwork and focus it demands, as well as the power of their own creativity. We earn much of our funding through the sale of remarkable glass jewelry, glassware, and glass art made by our artists and students, and from our glassmaking classes and workshops.
