• Operations Manager

  Overseeing operations of a large UK Visitor Attraction including driving experiences on track in AMG vehicles and off-road in G-class 4*4 vehicles. Management role with 38 direct reports plus wider responsibility for a multi-disciplinary team of around 140. Working within a small senior-management team dealing with a high-value contract with Mercedes-Benz.Working collaboratively within the management team to manage delivery of bespoke events. I oversee and support direct reports to meet expectations of customers during pre-event phases. Whilst the events are in progress I problem solve any issues which may arise, implementing solutions to drive operational best practice outcomes, supporting and working with the rest of the team.Analysing the quality of the customer journey, looking to refine and develop our range of products alongside reviewing guest management with the aim of increasing the engagement in and quality of the customer experience. Targeting points of failure through a variety of means including working with Mercedes-Benz World and approved subcontractors to address problems, reviewing in-car recording of experiences, seeking customer feedback at the end of events, comparison to external competition, using Salesforce to run reports on staff performance and having a good working relationship with the team deliver the expectation of “The Best, or Nothing”. My priority is to continuously develop operational best practice, taking a forward thinking and progressive stance to keep ahead of trends. Supervising recruitment, looking to create the desired culture from our first interactions. Conducting training - professional training and ongoing CPD, so that everyone is competent and has up-to-date documentation. I champion a culture of safety and excellence, ensuring minimal risk to guests, staff, and the business alike. • Track Control Operations

  Day-to-Day operations of the Mercedes-Benz World site, being in-charge and first port-of-call for all track activities and the museum on-site. This involves leading a small close-knit team responsible for all aspects of the operation of the site’s activities. My role within Track Control was responsibility for the safety of all visitors to Mercedes-Benz World alongside monitoring all aspects of site and vehicles to ensure safety and quality of fleet, reporting to appropriate subcontractors.

I focused on building the pool of Non-Licence instructors to meet our operational needs which was a multi-year project, ensuring that new team members were thoroughly integrated with the site and the team and ensuring on-going training needs were met. Quality control including quality reviews, secret shopping, disciplinary action and mentorship/further training where necessary.
