      In September 2012 I was promoted to Head of Finance for the £140m turnover Food To Go division consisting of 5 factories, 6 product categories (Juice, Smoothies, Ingredients, Chilled Desserts, Frozen desserts and Fruit).This division was expanded in December 2013 taking on an additional two factories (7 in total). These factories produce soup and ready meals producing both own label and New Covent Garden soups and Linda McCartney brands.This role expanded further in March 2014 where I also took on the responsibility of the £160m Grocery jams and spreads division including the Hartley’s, Sunpat and Gales brands.Responsibilities - Contributed to the overall leadership, strategy and management of the division.- Controlled, prepared and reviewed all annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts.- Monitored and controlled factory and divisional overheads to drive cost reductions.- Oversaw promotional commercial support and analysis, particularly on pre and post promotional reviews and new promotional strategies.- Business partnered with the sales director to assess and prepare retail tenders on an annual basis including reviewing profitability of new product development.- Responded to major movements in the commodity markets and analysed the effects to the business.Achievements- Managed a complete product costing analysis of 70 products within the Chilled Desserts factory due to profitability concerns. - Reviewed and implemented a promotional strategy for the Soup business which generated an additional profit within 12 months.- Produced EBITDA analysis by product group for the full business to include overhead allocations. - I was a pivotal member of the VDD team during the sale of Daniels chilled foods to its new US owner Hain Celestial. - Purchase of the spreads/desserts business from Premier Foods (£200m deal value).
