  Originally started from school as a Sheet Metal Worker apprentice. Upon completing my apprenticeship I was trained as CNC Laser Programmer using BySoft for the newly purchased ByStronic laser cutting machine. My role involved overseeing jobs from estimating/quoting through to programming and finally production. My Sheet Metal experience and knowledge was helpful for my programming to help forsee and minimise any problems for the press brake operators and fabricators in the processes after cutting. Customers included manufacturers in the Ministry of Defence, The Motor Industry and Health Care products. Materials used were various grades of Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Armour Plate. Show less
