An Associate Partner at Davis Brody Bond, Mark Wagner has extensive experience in the design of cultural and commercial projects. His particular expertise lies in the development of public exhibition spaces. Mark serves as Project Architect for the National September 11 Museum at the World Trade Center. His involvement as Project Architect / Project Designer began in 2004. He is charged with overseeing the daily progress of the Museum’s design and construction, navigating many building challenges due to the complexity of the numerous integrated construction projects at the World Trade Center site. Mr. Wagner’s familiarity with the details of the World Trade Center site date back to his role as Project Architect for the World Trade Center Archive, a project involving the on-site selection and preservation of over 1,000 artifacts from Ground Zero. In addition to numerous design competitions and master planning exercises Mark also served as Project Architect for several projects at The Frick Collection. Most notable and recently completed is The Frick Collection’s Portico Gallery which involved the transformation of an inaccessible exterior loggia facing the Fifth Avenue Garden into a new interior gallery for the display of sculpture and porcelain.
