Bio
Roger Ross
During my tenure as President of Via Licensing (subsidiary of Dolby Labs), Mark headed up our licensing efforts in Europe. Mark was a very engaged and active licensing professional and built enduring relationships with our customers and potential customers in the region. Mark was consistently able to close large, difficult targets and contributed significantly to Via's licensing revenue bottom line. Mark was great to work with and very much a team player. I would not hesitate to hire Mark again if the opportunity presented itself.
Jean-Michel (JM) Bourdon
I hired Mark twice: the first time at Adobe as a European Business Manager. Based in Amsterdam, Mark was responsible for licensing Adobe core technologies to new and existing OEM customers. The second time for Via Licensing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dolby Laboratories. Mark was responsible for licensing intellectual property through patent pools to companies primarily based in Europe. In both roles, Mark demonstrated his ability to maintain discipline, confidentiality (always keep a secret, secret -a critical aspect when you work with customers on new projects and leadership). Mark is excellent at playing the role of the "trusted advisor" as opposed to the salesperson. By creating this image, he appears to advise, explain and recommend more than a typical salesman. At the end, his ability to seal the deal is there too. I highly recommend Mark. Companies or ind individuals with questions can ping me.
