  After working as a regular employee for a while, i was promoted to assistant. This meant helping achieve company goals, supervising staff and take over responsibility for the department when my supervisor was not around.

  After working at my department for a few years i was promoted to supervisor. This meant managing day to day operations for the deli. This included supervising and managing the department staff, maintain quality operations, make sure the goals set by management were met (think off revenue, wages at a certain % of the revenue, loss of revenue below a certain threshold etc). I did this for about a year, after which i told them i wanted to go back to school. I still work there, but as a regular employee again.
