Supervised maintenance employees, organized capital expenditures, managed maintenance database work orders and reports, established a preventative maintenance scheduling database, coordinated facility work with contractors and sub-contractors, managed cost and spending and organized maintenance priorities with maintenance technicians on a daily basis. Ensured production was kept running by organizing and scheduling work on equipment and controls. Worked with various vendors & contractors establishing relationships and finding the best quality service at the lowest possible price. Managed flame tables, machining centers, bevel machines, drilling and saw machines. Familiar with CNC machines & controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, DXF file conversions, nesting programs such as ProNest and Merry Mech.In this role and being a small facility under 100 employees I wore many hats including engineering where I created highly complex part and assembly models/drawings simultaneously with organizing final product configurations. I have designed new products for metal fabrication of heavy mobile earthmoving equipment, heavy construction and agricultural equipment, including production, tooling and fixture & assembly drawings. Analyzed product specifications and reference information to access factors affecting designs and proactively identify when there are problems with a design or supporting calculations. Created complex geometric dimensioning and tolerances schemes and details including machining specs, hole tolerances, and other appropriate symbols. I also managed the IT infrastructure at the facility, was involved with various marketing projects & designs, the facility security manager, an emergency response team leader and the DOT coordinator at the facility.
