I handled litigation, served as general counsel, and spoke to people about public records and other current legal issues. I also began representing plaintiffs early in my career as a private lawyer.I published a monthly service for our clients called the Public Records Press. At its peak, hundreds of people received it in their inboxes each month. I handled litigation, served as general counsel, and spoke to people about public records and other current legal issues. I served in the Education Section and as interim assistant scheduler for Betty Montgomery while she served as Ohio's Attorney General. In addition, I worked as a legal intern in the Collection Enforcement and Constitutional Offices Section. Finally, the AG's Office gave me my first legal position as an Assistant Attorney General in the Health and Human Services Section where I represented ODJFS in administrative appeals, civil lawsuits, and public records cases.
