Projects: -----Busan Opera House----- 3rd place, invited competition ( http://www.henninglarsen.com/projects/1200-1299/1240-busan-opera.aspx ) -Competition for a new world class Opera House in the city of Busan, South Korea. -Duties involved research and analysis, theater planning, programming, concept and design, diagramming, and model building. -----Danish Architecture Center exhibit "In Dialog With the World"----- -( http://www.dac.dk/en/dac-life/exhibitions-1/2013/in-dialogue-with-the-world/ ) -5/6 Stars from national newspaper Politiken -Aided in the setup of the exhibition, including hand drawing a 4m. x 4m. map of Copenhagen. -Collaboration with interns from ADEPT Architects and Schmidt Hammer Lassen to run a 2 week "live studio." During the live studio we worked on a master planning proposal for Copenhagen. Freedom by Design Director

Freedom by Design is a program within the AIAS that aims to provide design/build work to low income and disabled people. This was the first year for the UIC AIAS Chapter. As a founding board member my goals and duties were to raise funds, increase membership, and ensure the chapter survives after my graduation. In collaboration with SAIC (School of the Art Institute Chicago), we worked on The Edgar Martinez Project. This was a volunteer project to renovate and rebuild the west wall of a house belonging to a Chicago Public School teacher who had been shot and paralyzed by a student. Show less
