My responsibilities include creating and maintaining functionality for the firms' intranet as well as developing ad hock solutions to improve company work flows. My last project was to port the company intranet from ASP Classic to ASP.Net. Software and web development sees me using a multitude of programming languages, from VB Script, JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS and Bootstrap to C#, Web forms and AJAX to T-SQL, Stored procedures, Views and database design. Administrate the hosted IIS (web server), SQL 2000 DB, DNS, FTP and mail (mdaemon) services. Managing server hardware and software infrastructure. Consulting on difficult IT support cases and network implementation, maintenance and support issues. First line IT support to office employees. Telephonic support to company client franchisees. Compiling software and system documentation. Implementing and maintaining server, network and DMZ hardware.
