I am a GIS Analyst with experience as a Surveyor, Data Analyst, Data Manager, and creating real-time web-based maps along with 3D web-based maps. I have acquired my GISP by following the guidelines and pre-requistites of the GISCI. My goals are to become fluent in the workplace with my abilities as a GIS Analyst and to create more efficient workflows and problem solving.

Outfall Mapper: Located and captured infall/outfall features for a number of Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) areas in Tennessee for TDOT. Used Ricoh cameras fixed with a GPS to capture features and later processed photos using GPS Photolink.Facility Surveyor (2012), TDOT, Statewide, TNTraveled to TDOT facilities statewide in order to accurately survey structures and elevations in the area to update SWPP maps for future use.GIS Analyst: Constructed field maps for outfall mapping teams before departure. Digitized features onto field maps. Performed multiple GIS tasks for other operations dire to the project. QA/QC features of previously mapped locations. Digitized contaminated streams via TDEC TMDL reports using TDEC published shapefiles of waterbodies. Used StreamStats to generate drainage basin of each contaminated stream. Calculated acreage of each drainage basin. Digitized TDOT ROW within drainage basin to get percentage of TDOT contributing to contamination of stream. Created maps for each document showing results of above.Mid-Atlantic Broadband Connection, 2011-2012, MBC, Virginia Assisted in presenting proposed 972 and 7280 fiber optic routes in the state of Virginia by creating a MapBook of the entire route via each topographic map that was provided to digitize the route and generated figures for each DRG. Analysis of route included how many streams and wetlands the route would affect. Effectively exported shapefiles to a Keyhole Markup Language (KML) for easy sharing and display. Aside from outfall mapping I have assisted on Dickson County landfill projects conducting water use surveys asking residents how they use their well water and updated GIS databases. Assisted on many other projects using skills in GIS from making figures for future or completed projects to outlining procedures of how a project is to be done. Show less
