Developed and supported Database and Data Warehouse solutions for a range of labour intensive scenarios. Integrated individual helpdesk systems into one system essential to the future capability and support. Developed MI reports (circa 200) for all levels of Management, tailoring to their specific requirements. Data analysis and reporting of anomalies enabling one area to attain savings of circa £800K per annum. Developed and supported a solution that automated reading and filing of emails in several databases for different areas recording relevant information. With an interface for authorisation and reporting saving several man hours per week for each area. Developed a solution for Incident and Recovery Management during separation in Amsterdam. This was completed in extremely tight timescales to the delight of the team concerned. Developed a system overnight to read various Excel mail attachments that appended or amended a master sheet, this saved 3 - 4 man hours a day, allowing the team to concentrate on more critical issues. Analysed and wrote an alternative system following a 16Bit hiccup in a bespoke system Feb 29th 2000. Feedback from the key business stakeholder was: How can you produce something in 3 hours that took a contractor 3 months to do, and make it better at the same time Monthly assistance to areas with data interrogation and enhancement for audit reports.
