  Oversee the Supervisory team to ensure that a cost effective, efficient waste management service is provided to our stakeholders.Specific responsibility for kerbside Recycling/waste collections, Street Cleaning services, Workshops and Fleet management, plan road closures for deep cleaning, Public Convenience Cleaning, Multistory Car Park staff, oversee two transfer stations, hold Wamitab Continuing Compliance, bid for new work and generate income. In close liaison with the Operations Manager, ensure that our risk management policies and procedures are implemented, particularly in the area of Risk Management.Oversee all training, sickness, holiday and monitoring records, ensuring they are up-to-date. Produce reports where relevant.To be part of the interview team, for the recruitment of new staff.Have special responsibility under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 for beach oil pollution.Have specific knowledge for compiling and monitoring statistical information with regard to sickness, training, BVPI 199 etc.As a qualified Assessor with the Institute of Advanced Motorists – Have special responsibility for driver assessments To liaise with other departments and organisations as required.
