Symplicity is a very mature EdTech solution provider supporting over 1,300 education providers globally across all areas of Student Life and Student Experience. While Symplicity has a strong market share in the USA, it has been the responsibility of this role to bring the solution set to the Australian and New Zealand education market. The role of Regional Sales Director has been an incredibly rewarding one which has provided the opportunity of working with the region’s top, and most innovative universities. I’ve been very privileged to partner with many Australian and New Zealand universities on strategic initiatives that have delivered some truly outstanding results. University of Tasmania were one of the early adopters of our Employability Solution - CSM Enterprise. With the backing of a fantastic team at UTAS, CSM Enterprise delivered a whole new student experience which greatly improved student engagement and subsequently strengthened the employability skill set of the student community. Most impressively, the efforts of the team at UTAS combined with the capabilities of CSM Enterprise, were able to double the number of engaged Industry Partners delivering a very positive increase in the number of opportunities available to students. Key project sponsors from UTAS have presented the success of this project on numerous occasions at large scale events including NAGCAS.Queensland University of Technology were the first education provider outside the USA to adopt our Disability Case Management Solution – Access. QUT were after a best of breed approach to supporting and digitalizing their Disability and Equity services and partnered with Symplicity to help refine and regionalize the solution. This strategic partnership resulted in many new features being introduced to the solution and also paved the way for many other institutions to more easily adopt Access as their Disability and Equity solution.

The TransACT owned and operated Hybrid Fibre & Coax (HFC) networks throughout Mildura, Geelong, Ballarat and the ACT are complimented with the use of Telstra’s National Coverage network and various backhaul vendors. Anittel is a national I.T. & Telecommunications company with a focus on supporting the IT&T needs for organisations across Australia. In 2010 Anittel completed the acquisition of eight leading SME focused IT and telecommunications companies across Australia. Included in this group was Aspirence Information Technology. Initial responsibilities with Aspirence as Sales Manager included all B2B sales, consulting and account management. The development of a Managed Service product suite and the responsibility of migrating customers across to these services. As the General Manage of Aspirence, Mark’s focus shifted to quality control, procedural management and development, team motivation and certification. The positive achievements which resulted from these efforts were in many cases used to assist the larger Anittel group.
