The company was founded by Mark Ott, a post-production specialist who had previously worked for a number of other post-production companies in Las Vegas. From its inception, 808 Post and Production focused primarily on providing video editing and post-production services for television commercials, corporate videos, and short films. As the company grew, it expanded its services to include audio post-production, color grading, and visual effects. Over the years, 808 Post and Production worked with a wide range of clients, including advertising agencies, production companies, and independent filmmakers. The company worked on projects for major brands such as Coca-Cola, Ford, and McDonald's, as well as for television networks such as NBC, ESPN, and Discovery Channel. In 2008, the company moved into a new 12,000-square-foot facility in Las Vegas, which included state-of-the-art post-production equipment, multiple editing suites, sound studios, and a green screen stage. Sadly, the company closed its doors in 2021, bringing an end to its more than a decade-long tenure as one of the leading post-production companies in Las Vegas.
