Employed as a Installation Technician for the UPRR in the Northern Illinois / Southern Wisconsin region, where I regularly install twisted-pair CAT 5 and CAT 6, terminate wire using 568A or 568B pin-outs, testing and troubleshooting new and existing LAN lines, installing computers and IP phones, testing of UPS battery loads. Pull and terminate coax using BNC and F-type connectors, terminate using fan-out kit, splice and test fiber, build/install cabinets, cable tray, ladder racks, supports, grounding, strictly adhering to all relevant safety and BICSI Standards. Employed as the Deck Foreman for the Trump International Hotel complex in Chicago, supervising the layout of the electrical runs prior to the concrete pours for the hotel portion of the complex. Using Trimble AutoCAD tools, I would ensure that the layouts matched the architectural schematics. On other projects, as an Electrician I assembled and installed wiring, electrical and electronic components, bend, install and support conduit, read electrical blueprints and as-builts, install pedestals, electrical panels and low voltage boxes, while determining circuit loads, lay-outs and trouble-shooting.
