  At present I am working as the Client Care Manager for the London and South East Division, where I have been dealing with completed properties in maintenance period and end of defect period, this is both for housing projects and construction projects. This entails dealing with social and private residents with day to day issues and carrying out the end of defect inspections. With this I have to organize repairs with our in-house operatives and sub-contractors. When latent defects arise, I have to inspect the potential issue myself and where necessary arrange for repairs to be completed by our in-house team or by sub contractors. I have attended meetings with new clients and existing clients to either explain how our client care process works and to also monitor how things are going during the duration of the projects, which may include checking works carried out by contractors or our team. I order materials and plant for works and where necessary liaise with clients and contractors to ensure repairs or investigations are completed to a satisfactory standard. When they arise I investigate and arrange for repairs to be undertaken for any NHBC claims for housing properties, which includes liaising with customers, contractors and staff at the NHBC. On the odd occasion I have had to deal with customer complaints regarding ongoing issues and compensation claims. I am also dealing with sectional agreements including highways and water authority. I work closely with my client care co-ordinator to ensure all reported issues are investigated and dealt with in a timely manner, this also includes managing workloads of our client care team.   I was in charge of a kitchen refurbishment contract for Leadbitter Construction in Abingdon, Oxford. This was for South Oxfordshire Housing Association where we are installed 100 - 150 kitchens per year. I had to conduct pre-survey assessments with the client to see which kitchen needs upgrading and then arrange the kitchen survey to be carried out with the Kitchen manufacturer. At each survey I carried out a complete run through of the specific details regarding the refurbishment works ensuring that the procedure is clearly understood by the tenant. I carried out a consultation with the tenants to agree their choices on worktops, door fronts, handles, wall tiling, floor coverings and decorations specific to each kitchen. Show less
