In this role I was responsible primarily for 3 facets of the Mercury sales organization. Business Development, National Sales, and the Gift and Loyalty department. Business Development at Mercury includes the launch of new POS software developer partnerships and early stage sales efforts. We work closely with our new developer and reseller channel partners to create the foundation for a very efficient, mutually successful, and long term relationship as their preferred electronic payments provider.National Sales pursues multi location merchant opportunities and wins business through leverage of our hundreds of POS partner integrations, associated competitive advantages and built in value adds, such as our hosted, multi store gift card platform. In addition to the close of new merchant business, this department handles the implementation of complex, multi store installations of our payment technology from a project management perspective. Finally, we also maintain the long term relationship of our multi merchant partners. Our mission is to work closely with our clients to help grow their business. Through adoption of our additional products and services, such as online gift card sales, we expand the reach of our clients business and at the same time increase merchant penetration within the relationship.Lastly, I am responsible for the operation and development of Mercury's Gift and Loyalty department. This product is a critical component of our success as a payment processor and sets us apart from the competition. I currently oversee the prioritization of product enhancements, internal and external training and marketing efforts, development of revenue sharing opportunities with our reseller partners, and the general operation involving the sales, boarding and ongoing support of our clients gift card related needs.
