      Ethylene Cracker, Grangemouth I have had 12 years experience working on a gas and liquid cracker, working firstly as an outside operator for 2 yrs then as a control room operator. My responsibilities as a control room operator was to safely control and optimise plant conditions on a cracker that could produce 350000 TPA of Ethylene and other by products such as Propylene, Raw C4's and pygas, Hydrogen and fuel oil. The Cracker was also integrated in a complex Ethylene network on site and also part of various pipelines which spanned the UK. As part of my core role I was also responsible for control of work and carried out TBRA. I have also had experience of project work being seconded to DCS upgrade of live Ethylene Cracker.
