Responsible for the 'day to day' supervision of the small team within the facility carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical / electronic controlled hydraulic and pneumatic equipment such as platforms, conveyor belts, pulley systems and hoists. Including general maintenance such as installing switches changing light fittings and other operational tasks as they occurred. In this task I also carried out subsequent testing and liaising with the engineering manager to 'refine' the ROV operating parameters, carrying out modifications to the system as required and providing regular updates, both verbal and written to the third party representatives and the SubAtlantic general manager.
