These losses can range from isolated, minor damage to a single tank, to the loss of a complete storage terminal due to natural catastrophe. We work with Insurers to review the damage against the repair/replacement claims of the owners to assist in providing the Insurers a clear picture, independent of the owner, of the actual damage caused and a realistic approach towards repairing the damage. As Project Sponsor, I am overseeing the construction and completion of a $100+ million pumping station and terminal for TransCanada's Keystone Pipeline project. One of many pumping stations, this station is very complex and positioned right in the heart of the "pipeline crossroad of the world", Cushing, Oklahoma. With multiple contractors supporting Matrix personnel in the field erection, I oversee a total staff of nearly 1,000 tradesmen and administrative staff. I am responsible for P&L on the project along with building and maintaining relationships with the customer, subcontractors and the general public. Matrix took over this site from a previous contractor that was extremely late and incredibly over budget. In just a few short weeks, we've managed to develop a realistic completion date and have made tremendous headway towards meeting that date, in spite of numerous spur-of-the-moment changes and discovery of previous contractor's mistakes. In spite of the challenges, I'm very confident that we will bring this project to closure on time and on budget. Show less
