Housing & Care 21 provide affordable housing and care to the over 55's, with turnover of circa £200m per annum, and 7500 staff throughout the UK.Since June 2014 I have had responsibility for all financial operations and transaction processing within the company, reporting into the Head of Finance and Treasury. I lead circa 55 staff in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Care Billing, Payroll, Property Income, Taxation and Insurance. Key tasks are to relocate the Property Income team from Cirencester and the Accounts Payable team from Beaconsfield into the new shared services office in Birmingham by the end of 2014.Previously I managed the Property Income Team based in Cirencester where our key focus was to reduce tenant rent arrears (reduced current tenant arrears from £2.8m to £1.4m in just over 1 year), and ensure that new tenants adhere to their tenancy agreement.
